“ La Scala is an excellent place to eat Italian cuisine. We order the dinner for 2 and this special comes with a personal pizza, 4 garlic breadsticks, 2 side salads, 2 drinks, and pasta. Overall, the atmosphere and music is nice and the food is good. ”
“ This place is so cute! The food was amazing and the staff was so friendly. They have 2 small party rooms off to the side of the main room that give you an intimate feel without being locked away in a room somewhere. We got the lobster ravioli and it was delicious and had so much of the cream sauce we had enough to dip the bread sticks in and the Beauty and the Beef pizza with thin crust and the pizza sauce was so good it tasted homemade with so much flavor. We will definitely be going back!! ”
“ tried this restaurant for the first time and the food was absolutely amazing. everything was so fresh. the wings are delicious! breadsticks are great, 2 come with each dish. chicken alfredo was also perfect. the service was average, the waiter only checked on us once and it was when we waived them down and asked for the check. but other than that i would eat here everyday if i could! delicious food. ”
“ I absolutely LOVE this place!! Ive been coming here for 34 years and its still of my favorites. The waiters and waitresses are super friendly and the food is delicious. However, if you come here... Do keep it on a low volume and try not to be loud because I do see the majority of people here enjoy dining here because of the quietness since its a small restaurant. Overall, amazing restaurant! ”
“ Were not in Brownsville anymore! This is how we felt when we visited The Village at La Scala. The experience was different enough to forget that you were in Brownsville for a bit . From the ambient, food, and the service, our experience was just awesome! Our host, Richard, was super friendly and our food came out really hot and well made. I honestly havent enjoyed pizza like I did when we ate here. It was super cheesy and the tomato didnt overpower the rest of the flavor. Do yourself a favor and try the zombie pizza We ordered a regular classic pepperoni, and the zombie with the coliflower crust. The zombie consisted of ranch sauce with pepperoni, spinach, bacon, and tomatoes. As much as we loved the classic, we found our new favorite! I really recommend an afternoon or a night out! ”

“ I do NOT visit this place enough. This place is hands down my favorite restaurant in Brownsville! Ive tried almost every food here. From Pasta, to Pizza, to Calzones, none of them are far from excellent! La Scalas food focuses more on simplicity rather than adding too many ingredients, in my opinion. I will continue to visit La Scala for as long as I live. Definitely a must try restaurant! ”
“ Ive been searching for some good authentic pizza!!! This place even has a fusion twist with asada and carnitas pizza!!! The waitress was nice, the unsweet tea was refreshing, the marinara was on point. Even the cheesy breadsticks were worth the extra weight Im going to gainnn Ill think of this place next time I get a good italian craving. I may even try some of their pasta dishes next time. That lobster ravioli sounds delicious. ”
